OF CARGHANS IN MEMORY OF HIS BELOVED
WIFE SARAH SMITH WHO DEPARTED THIS
LIFE FULL OF HOPE OF A GLORIOUS IMMORTALITY
ON THE 23RD OF JULY 1834 AGED 63 YEARS
HERE ALSO RESTS THE MORTAL REMAINS OF THE
ABOVE NAMED THOMAS SMITH WHO DEPARTED
THIS LIFE IN HOPE OF A GLORIOUS RESURRECTION ON
THE 15TH NOVEMBER 1861 AGED 98 YEARS
ALSO HIS SON THOMAS SMITH WHO DEPARTED THIS
LIFE ON THE 21ST JULY 1872 AGED 77 YEARS
